As the Marketing Manager, Chris contributes to Carnan’s strategic marketing initiatives, and is responsible for timely and effective execution of all marketing projects. He deploys thoughtful, trackable business strategies that lead to the success of his projects.
With nearly 20 years of experience under his belt, he has a deep understanding of creative marketing and advertising. His wide-ranging skillset includes everything from positioning and strategy to design and art direction. In the last few years, he has specialized in social media and has gained a hefty following on his personal account — a rarity in the advertising and marketing industry.
The list of brands he has worked on includes Coca-Cola, vitaminwater, REI, Capital One, Georgia-Pacific, Peace Corps, Georgia Power, Titleist, Fidelity Investments, Embassy Suites, and Dell to name a few. Most recently he worked solely on the master-planned communities The Woodlands and Bridgeland.
In his spare time he works as a fine artist. His work has been exhibited throughout the U.S and has been sold throughout the U.S. and internationally.
“Advertising and marketing has undergone a sea change in the last few years. Consumers are more educated than ever and no longer have to pay attention to boring messaging. They appreciate smart brands who make their lives better with their products and reward them with their business and loyalty. This is most noticeable on social media where some brands get ‘it’ and others completely miss the boat.”Chris
